They Don't Write 'Em Like That Any More

No graphic art, this week. But, I did write a couple of songs.

Here"s the lyrics to a goofy little pop song about (what else?) riding my bike.

(Chorus)
I've got a bike and I like to ride it, I ride it every day.
I've got a bike and I like to ride it, I ride it every day.

Sit on the seat and grab the handlebars, put my feet on the pedals
Ring the bell as I'm riding along, say hello to the fellows
People in cars, they're not so bad, But I'm glad I'm not one
I ride past as they're sitting still, And I'm having fun

(Chorus)
I've got a bike and I like to ride it, I ride it every day.
I've got a bike and I like to ride it, I ride it every day.

See the sky, hear the birds as they sing, the soundtrack for my riding
Feel the sun, feel the wind and the rain, It's all just so exciting
Here I go just cruising along, I'm really in no hurry
It's kinda nice just to take my time, out of the rat race scurry

(Chorus)
I've got a bike and I like to ride it, I ride it every day.
I've got a bike and I like to ride it, I ride it every day.

So get a bike, and then go ride it, then I think you'll say
I've got a bike and I like to ride it, I ride it every day.

Writing and music are "art," too. Its funny, isn't it, that people admire and envy the talent it takes to draw / paint, but feel like anyone (including themselves) could write if they just put their minds to it.
